Benny Lee led DuraComm Corporation in Kansas City as its president and chief executive until his retirement, and is a shareholder in Eliton. Named Kansas City Philanthropist of the Year by Nonprofit Connect in 2014 and a founding patron of the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts, he has served as a trustee of the Command and General Staff College Foundation since 2015. A clarinetist, he and Edith Lee host the Benny & Edith Lee Concert Series, MAPAA's Kansas City recital series, in their home. He advises MAPAA on networking and relationship development across the Kansas City region.
