Stecoah Valley Center

Stecoah Valley Arts, Crafts & Educational Center is a non-profit organization formed by a group of local citizens dedicated to the preservation of mountain culture, the community and the old Stecoah School. Built about 1927, the rock school buildings and grounds are currently being restored to their original role as the center of the community.

Community Services
The Center offers many services to the community including a Library, Family Resource Center, Senior Citizens Center, After-School Program, Summer Youth Programs, Gymnasium and others. Through its Festivals, Performances and Crafts the Center helps preserve and promote Southern Appalachian mountain culture in the most authentic fashion.

Crafts, Studios and Classes
Stecoah Valley Center offers working studio, shop and gallery spaces to local artisans. Visit these interesting galleries, as well as the Center gift shop, in the newly renovated historic school building for a unique experience. Fine arts and crafts are available here year round. Classes and workshops in music, crafts and other mountain heritage skills are also offered at the Center
