John C. Campbell Folk School has fostered knowledge and appreciation of traditional craft, music, dance and folklore since 1925. On its 300-acre campus in Brasstown, NC, the school offers adults more than 830 weeklong and weekend classes year-round in craft, art, gardening, cooking, writing, storytelling and photography as well as traditional music and dance.

Free Friday night concerts are open to the public following an exhibition of student crafts. Fall Festival, held the first full weekend of October, features performances by more than 200 musicians and dancers on two stages as well as crafts, food and children’s activities.
